Engineering immune response to infection
Laurel Hind, an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, isÌýstudying the innate immune response to infection using engineered models. Right at the multidisciplinary intersection of engineering, immunology, and molecular biology, her lab at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder designs microfluidic models that repeat many important cell-to-cell interactions, as well as structural components of infectious microenvironments.
