- Kelly Gazarik, a Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ alumna, helped launch the Biomedical Engineering Program. Gazarik now works for Medtronic as a software project engineer after interning for the medical device company in summer 2018.
- The Proof-of-Concept and Early Stage Capital and Retention Grants were awarded by COEDIT’s Global Business Development Division. The grants are intended to “drive innovation, accelerate commercialization, encourage public-private partnerships, and increase access to early-stage capital across the state from Dolores to Grand Junction to Fort Collins."
- Alumnus Michael Lewis (MechEngr’00) took an interdisciplinary education to the next level. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and working at Boeing for a year, he discovered another way to help people – through medicine.
