First-Generation Student Week events
Next week The Office for Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion will be celebrating First-Generation Student Week by offering two workshops, one centered towards staff and faculty, one centered towards students (though both are open to all). We also wanted to highlight an important presentation being offered by Be Well. Please see details for all three below. We hope to see you all there!
- The Communities that Made Us: Prioritizing Space and Place for First-Gen Rural and Small-Town Students

- A workshop for faculty and staff on supporting first-generation students from rural or mountain areas
- Let's Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØWell: Financial freedom and happiness: Don't work for your money, learn how to make your money work for you

- This workshop for students explores the notion that financial wellness is not a one-size fits all, especially for first-generation and low-income families.
