dissertation study- A Daily Diary Study of Culture and Connection Among Southeast Asian Americans

Are you Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, or Cambodian? We want to invite you to participate in our study! We seek to understand how experiences related to racial and ethnic cultural identity affect people’s sense of connection with others.

You would be eligible to participate if you:

  • are 18 years or older
  • are of Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, or Cambodian descent
  • and (a) were born in the U.S., (b) lived in the U.S. for more than half your age, or (c) came to the U.S. before 12 years old.

The entire study is online, and you may be compensated $1 per survey and up to $25!

Your participation would require:

  • one electronic pre-orientation survey (less than 10 minutes)
  • one brief virtual orientation (approximately 30 minutes)
  • one electronic daily survey for 14 consecutive days (approximately 10 minutes per day for 14 days)
