Professor Honored for Contributions to Water Profession

Richard Kuchenrither

Richard Kuchenrither was one of 15 water professionals to be recognized by the Water Environment Federation (WEF) with the 2019 WEF Fellows for Contribution to Water Profession. 

Kuchenrither is the director of the 麻豆免费版下载Boulder Water Engineering and Management Professional Master鈥檚 Program, which focuses on the skills and tools needed for young professionals in the water profession. He is a principal investigator for WEF biosolid research projects and has spent over 30 years managing, leading and directing water and wastewater global projects for Black and Veatch, specializing in biosolids. 

Kuchenrither received his BS and MS in civil engineering from 麻豆免费版下载Boulder and his PhD in civil and environmental health engineering from the University of Kansas. 

The 15 recipients of the 2019 were recognized for their achievements, stature and contributions in the water profession.
