The devastating war in the Middle East continues and dominates the news headlines. Many members of the campus community are directly impacted. They have family and friends in the region who have been hurt or worse. For weeks, tensions have been high on US university campuses, including Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, and many students feel threatened and unsafe. Social media continues to be saturated with posts that often further inflame lingering frictions and mistrust and spread misinformation. Many have asked for more information and insights into the conflict and its decades-long histories.
Please join us for a program to continue discussions about the ongoing conflict that began shortly after the October 7 Hamas terror attacks. The public is invited to individual and group discussions with Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØfaculty experts on a range of sub-topics from antisemitism to the long history of the Arab-Israeli conflict. This event uses a more informal format and allows smaller groups of participants to discuss a specific sub-topic with a faculty expert.
