Professor Christopher Bowman named Distinguished Research Lectureship honoree

Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder’s Research & Innovation Office has named Professor Chris Bowman as one of two 2017 Distinguished Research Lectureship honorees.

Bowman was nominated by his peers and chosen unanimously by a faculty panel. He will receive a $2,000 stipend and will present a lecture in fall 2017 or spring 2018.

The is considered one of the highest honors bestowed by the faculty upon a fellow faculty member. Recipients are tenured faculty members who are widely recognized for distinguished academic or creative achievement and prominence as well as contributions to the educational and service missions of Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder.

Bowman is a distinguished professor and the James and Catherine Patten Endowed Chair in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. An expert in photopolymerization, nanotechnology and biomaterials, Bowman was into the National Academy of Inventors.
