Julius received a B.A. in History and German Language and Literature from the University of Regensburg, Germany, in 2023. His undergraduate thesis was a re-evaluation of the treaties between Rome and Carthage prior to the First Punic War. Julius’s research interests include the literature and material culture of the Roman Republic and Hellenistic Greece. Besides pursuing this program, he is exploring digital approaches to history through his work as a Research Assistant at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder’s Center for Research Data and Digital Scholarship. Having taught Greek and Roman history as well as lower-division German classes at CU, Julius is serving as the department’s Lead Teaching Assistant this year.
