CMCI grad & faculty member win Heartland Emmy
KTVB Idaho reporter and 2016 CMCI graduate Joe Parris received a Heartland Emmy at the 2016 awards ceremony for his reporting with . Parris received the Student Achievement award in the sports category in recognition for his work reporting for Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder’s student-run sports broadcast outlet. Sports Mag allows student reporters to have access to sporting events and press conferences and conduct interviews with athletes and coaches.
Parris was among several Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØstudents honored at the Heartland Emmys, which also recognized the university’s Athletics Department for its video editing and graphic designs. Parris shares the award with InstructorÌýPaul Daugherty.
