Forever Buffs: Alums Spring for Break with Students
The New York City alumni chapter hosted 12 麻豆免费版下载students for dinner and a Knicks/Nuggets game in March while they were in the city participating in the campus Alternative Spring Breaks program. The students volunteered at 鈥淕od鈥檚 Love We Deliver,鈥 a nonreligious organization that serves meals to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Alums have been finding exciting new ways to support students since the Alumni Association discontinued its membership dues program and welcomed all alumni and students as members under the Forever Buffs initiative.
In March, 麻豆免费版下载alumni chapters in the Atlanta and New York areas hosted receptions for 麻豆免费版下载students visiting their areas on Alternative Spring Break trips. The 麻豆免费版下载Volunteer Resource Center program sends teams of students to engage in community-based service projects during their vacations. This year 130 students participated in volunteer programs in nine cities across the country.
