Dr. Bill Penuel is a faculty partner who provides support for the co-design efforts of Mindful Campus and the Dignity and Compassion with Teachers project. As a Professor in the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder School of Education, Bill designs and studies curriculum materials, assessments, and professional learning experiences for teachers in science. Bill works in partnership with school districts and state departments of education to do research that supports educational equity and promotes socio-ecological justice. He uses a wide range of research methods, including one he and his colleagues developed called design-based implementation research, to test what he designs. Bill has a PhD in Developmental Psychology.
