- GEOG 4722/5722-FIELD METHODS IN HUMAN GEOGRAPHY
Students in this course work with community partners to design and implement a research project using field-based qualitative methods. Partners include Meals on Wheels, Thistle Communities, Maria Rogers Oral History Project, and the City of Boulder-Housing Division. This qualitative research will assist these community organizations to better understand working on housing affordability and related issues. It will give students an opportunity to develops skills and a nuanced understanding of the possibilities and limitations of qualitative research in a community setting.
