Course Description
This course focuses on the importance of embedding diversity equity inclusion (DEI) in engineering workplace environments. Students focus on the historical narrative of institutions and institutional structures that have shaped instances of inclusion and exclusion in engineering, how their own identity and background shape their thoughts and actions, and how transformational leadership is enacted for DEI in a challenging atmosphere.

Jessica Rush Leeker
Dr. Rush Leeker, an Engineering Professor at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ, holds an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain and Information Systems from Penn University.
Her academic journey continued with a Ph.D. in Engineering Education and an MBA in Sustainability and Operations from Purdue University.
Passionate about creating a lasting impact, With a commitment to fostering inclusive environments, her teaching and coaching initiatives reflect her dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
