The following story was submitted by alumnus Philip Pearl, a retired professional engineer and ASCE fellow. He earned a BS in civil engineering and business in 1953 and served in the Air Force between years studying at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder.

I came to Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder on the Army's Advanced Civilian Schooling scholarship program to obtain a Master's of Science in my telecommunications field. The other Army officer and I were almost inseparable during our time here.
