On Wednesday, October 2, third-year students in environmental product design wrapped up their first project: designing an education-focused artifact for children in crisis zones. Projects ranged from backpack workstations and modular school furniture to counseling tools and pop-up schools.Â
The EPOD 2100 studio is led by ENVD Instructor Azhar Khan, and over the past five weeks, students focused on user-centric design, joints and assemblies, prototyping and file-to-factory fabrication methods.Â
