Now that a few students have graduated and moved on to better (?) things, it's time for a new generation of graduate students to pick up the torch. With that in mind, it is my pleasure to introduce the two newest members of the ROCC team: Simon Jones and Ali Sulehria!
Simon is joining us from Allegheny College, where he majored in Physics and Computer Science. He is now joining Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder in the context of our brand-new and very shiny Robotics Program.
Ali is instead joining us from Tulane University, where he studied Biomedical Engineering. He is already diving head-deep into research, having met his future collaborators at first year review of the .
Both Simon and Ali will be working on Quantum Control, with Simon focusing on the general side of optimization algorithms and Ali deliving into the specifics of shaken lattice interferometry.
