New Faculty Orientation

The Office of Faculty Affairs welcomes all new 麻豆免费版下载Boulder tenure-track, teaching, and clinical faculty through its New Faculty Orientation (NFO) programming, held annually a week before the first day of the semester.

The 2024 New Faculty Orientation (NFO) was held on Aug. 19, bringing together new faculty members for a day of learning and connection. You can read about the event highlights in the latest 麻豆免费版下载Boulder Today article.

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the 2025 NFO scheduled for Thursday, August 14, 2025. Stay tuned for more details as we prepare to welcome another cohort of new faculty!

A monthly workshop series for tenure-track, teaching, and clinical faculty who are in their first three years at 麻豆免费版下载Boulder. Meet other new faculty and get your questions answered! Participation in at least 8 鈥淭hriving at CU鈥 sessions over your first three years will earn you a faculty development certificate. These sessions are not recorded to create a comfortable environment for open, candid discussions and engagement. Thriving at 麻豆免费版下载covers the following content areas:

  • New Faculty Orientation
  • Thriving in the First Year: What I Wish I Had Known (Individual sessions for and )
  • Thriving in the Classroom: Handling Challenges
