Undergraduate Work, Schedule, and Hours

The Institute of Cognitive Science conducts research to help understand and enhance human cognition, learning, and development through the creation of interdisciplinary partnerships. When grant funding is available, we hire undergraduate students to help carry out our research mission which gives students an opportunity to obtain research experience.ÌýPlease contact the research groupÌýand faculty research labs that sparks your interest to find out about available opportunities.

Undergraduate student work schedule is set by your supervisor. Students are limited to no more than 25 hours per week during the academic year. During the summer students can work up to 40 hours per week if approved by their supervisors.ÌýHourly employees are eligible for sick leave.
