The decomposition of methylene blue (C16H18N3S, MB) solution is used to study the photoactivity of TiO2听nanoparticles, with and without Pt-doping.听 Under UV light irradiation, the MB solution reacts with test photocatalyst to form colorless liquid. From the decrease of MB concentration with irradiation time, the photocatalytic activity of test powder can be evaluated. Pt doping on TiO2听nanoparitlces is through ALD method. When the ALD process and situation is different, the Pt improvement effect to TiO2听photoactivity is different.
