McNeill Scholar and Emerging Health Professionals Coordinator,听Tamanna Talwar, participated in CU鈥檚 Map the System competition in which students take a systems-thinking approach to tackling social and/or environmental challenges.听She was encouraged to enter the competition after taking Suffering and Care in Society with Dr. Don Grant.听Tamanna titled her project 鈥楤ridging the Gap on Autism and Diagnosis鈥� and explored the disparities and barriers that 鈥渓ead to delayed access to evaluation, diagnosis and services鈥� for low-income children and/or children of color.听

Tamanna won the competition and will represent 麻豆免费版下载Boulder at the Global Map the System contest this summer at the University of Oxford, UK!听Tamanna chose a topic close to her heart and presented an organized and comprehensive project.
