Undergraduate Student of the Month - Syd Levy

Syd Levy headshot
While Syd loves Mechanical Engineering, it is far from his only interest. Syd currently works in the THING Lab in the ATLAS Institute and has been part of Engineers without Borders Rwanda, Biomedical Engineering Society and Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEmergency Medical Services. Syd is passionate about ecological preservation and wilderness areas. Last summer, Syd worked as a snorkel and kayak guide in Virgin Islands National Park and will be working this summer as a canoe and backpacking guide in the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area. When he graduates, Syd hopes to apply his engineering knowledge to the medical field, either working as a biomedical engineer or pursuing a higher degree in medicine.
