This Week at the College of Music: Community Edition - Feb. 11, 2021
The Lullaby Project, which started at Carnegie Hall in New York City more than a decade ago, pairs new and expectant parents and guardians with artists to write and sing personal lullabies for their babies. Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder researchers and musicians brought the project to Colorado, studying the effects of the project on the mental health and well-being of children and parents. The result? Families showed improvements in social connections and decreased loneliness, as well as improving symptoms of depression and anxiety. Discover more about this inspiring, timely collaboration between the Entrepreneurship Center for Music and the Renée Crown Wellness Institute.
