• On Feb. 15, we return to a blend of in-person, hybrid-in-person and remote instruction modes. The spring semester will continue to be a time when we are a COVID-19-aware campus. Testing capacity has been increased and safety measures will continue – including daily check-ins via Buff Pass, required use of face coverings when on campus, reduced density in campus buildings, social distancing in the classroom and proper ventilation. 
• All faculty, staff and students with a need to be on campus during the spring semester must participate in the weekly campus monitoring surveillance program. Participation in the monitoring program is critical to help avoid further public health restrictions. We will submit names of students and faculty who are involved in high-aerosol music making to the campus testing system and receive a weekly list of those who did not get tested. We’ll share this list with the appropriate major area professor to ensure appropriate follow-ups.

• Psychologist launches #TalkMentalIllness course for the masses: In response to the burgeoning mental-illness crisis, Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience June Gruber launches a massive, open online course on mental health.
