ODA performs a variety of survey research for the CU Boulder campus. Our principal goal in conducting surveys is to provide useful information for making decisions that affect the academic environment of the campus.

Campus Office and Program Requests

In addition to cyclical surveys, we provide custom survey research for campus offices and programs. If you have a survey in mind that will benefit the wider Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder community and you’d like our help, please contact us.

Requests from Individuals

The ODA Survey Team has very limited resources and, given the size of Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, we cannot provide support to survey requests from individuals at CU. Because the ODA Survey Team has very limited resources, we don't take on individual students as clients. The client-requested surveys we implement are requested by academic or administrative units on campus (e.g., staff council, student government) and serve to benefit the wider Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcommunity. We can consult on all aspects of surveying: questionnaire design, sampling, administration, data collection and compilation, statistical analysis, and reporting.

As another potential resource on campus, LISA (Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Statistical Analysis) works with individuals at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder that are conducting research and provides consulting and walk-in hours.
