Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØMountain Fest

At Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, adventure is right in our backyard! Spend a few days exploring your new surroundings, making new friends and learning new skills! A nearby state park will be our basecamp for the trip, offering the perfect backdrop for a variety of activities. Hike, climb and fish during the day and take in the beautiful expanse of the Milky Way at night.

Mandatory pre-trip meeting:
All participants are required to attend a virtual pre-trip meeting (parents/guardians welcome!). Pre-trip meetings for Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØMountain Fest will be held on the following dates:Ìý

  • July 16 | 6-6:45 p.m.
  • July 23 | 5-5:45 p.m.
  • July 24 | 6-6:45 p.m.

ÌýÌý Note: To participate in this trip, you must be registered for another pre-arrival program afterwards. This is a great option for students who want to participate in one of our signature incoming student trips, but need to be back for a pre-arrival program for their academic department or residence hall. If you would like to participate in this program but you are not already involved with a group on campus that requires participation in a pre-arrival program, you can register for Stampede Leadership Camp.Ìý

The below itinerary reflects all the components of Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØMountain Fest. This itinerary is subject to change due to severe weather or public health ordinance.

Sample Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

  • Drop off your belongings at your residence hall.
  • Meet your group at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØRecreation Center (1835 Pleasant St.) and head to the beautiful state park that will be your home for the week.

Day 2-3: Outdoor activities

  • Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, fishing and climbing.
  • Whether you're a beginner or an experienced outdoors-person, our amazing trip leaders will guide you through a fantastic adventure.

Day 4: Return to campus

  • Pack up and head back to Boulder.
  • Arrive on campus with plenty of time to settle into your residence hall and get ready for your next pre-orientation program.
