Join the 24th annualÌý on Thursday, April 20,Ìýto learn about sustainability-related developments in academic, engagement and operational realms as well as new, innovative and interesting initiatives underway at the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ.

Multiple campus community membersÌýwill give sustainability updatesÌýfocused on progress toward the top crowdsourced goals to come out of the spring 2016 summit, as well as on additional developments.

Additionally, the will include a discussion with campus leadership on setting strategic sustainability priorities, featuring David Kang, vice chancellor for infrastructure and safety; Terri Fiez, vice chancellor for ; and Russell Moore, provost and executive vice chancellor for .

TheÌýannual Campus Sustainability Awards will take place during the summit, as well. The award program, which started in 1997, recognizes outstanding individuals and departments who demonstrate a sincere commitment to reducing the burden that Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder places on the environment.Ìý

The awardees exemplify CU's continuing efforts to become a sustainable institution, setting the example for environmental stewardship and responsibility.ÌýSomeÌýhave made groundbreaking efforts that will change the overall way Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØoperates, and others make an impact on the community and campus environment with their everyday actions.
