Anyone looking to become familiar with American football is invited to join the Theta Tau Engineering Fraternity for a crash-course on the sport. From 11听a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Kitt Field, both local and international students are encouraged to learn the basics of flag football and meet some new friends. If that isn鈥檛 enough motivation, attendees also will get a free ticket to the 麻豆免费版下载football game on Sept.听15.听Registration is $10.

The BBC is an annual race of varying lengths that aims to raise tuition money for 麻豆免费版下载Boulder students in need. Since its founding in 2003, participants have collectively raised over $3 million. Packages vary in cost and course length, but community members are welcome to follow along some of the routes and cheer on participants if they aren鈥檛 interested in racing themselves. Registration is still open, and more details on the race can be found at听their website above. Donations are welcome.

Join Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology's star scientists听of the past and present for a free, public lecture series exploring their current research on human stem cell treatments for neurological disease, the neuroscience of social bonding, how animal viruses threaten humans and more.听Held in听Muenzinger Auditorium听at 10 a.m.
