There is a lot of demand and potential in printing medical models and sample tissue. Rob McCurdy (�鶹��Ѱ�����Boulder) and his team have developed a software that allows for 3D-printing of composite materials with predetermined material properties that improves accuracy of the final product. Instead of choosing printing materials that have approximately the material properties (hardness, elasticity, etc.) in the finished product, this method chooses properties first, and then use multi-material printing to 3D-print composites to those exact properties.
