TheÌýDaniels Fund Ethics Initiative Collegiate Program (DFEICP) at LeedsÌýwelcomes applications for the 2023-2024 Fellows program.ÌýThis competitive program supports faculty members in designing and executing aÌýcurricularÌýorÌýextracurricular learning experienceÌýfor students that teachesÌýÌýethical decision-makingÌýthrough the lens of a specific discipline or field of expertise.ÌýPlease note that this Fellowship isÌýnot available to support faculty research.

Each academic year,Ìýfive Faculty FellowsÌýare selected from a competitive pool of applicants. Each Fellow will receive aÌý$5,000 grantÌýin the form of a cash award to recognize the expected time and effort invested in this role above and beyond Fellows' normal job responsibilities.

All full-time Leeds faculty members who have not served as Fellows in a prior academic year are eligible to apply.ÌýÂ鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØfaculty outside the Leeds School of Business and Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØstaff are eligible to apply with prior approval from the DFEICP Campus Leader (currentlyÌýJoshua Nunziato).

All applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised of the DFEICP Campus Leader, the Program Assistant, and at least one other Leeds faculty member. Each application will be evaluated on the basis of its proposed project's:

  • Anticipated effectiveness in teachingÌýÌýfor professional life;
  • Integration of experiential learning;
  • Innovation andÌýcreativity;
  • Probable student impact (both quality of programming and expected number of students impacted);
  • Alignment with the applicant’s experience, expertise, and institutional role--and the
  • Applicant’s availability and willingness to provide select support to other DFEICP programming throughout the academic year as a coach and/or judge.

The deadline for submission of all application materials isÌýMay 31, 2023.

Fellows will be announced byÌýJune 15, 2023.
