As state director, Marshall will oversee all aspects of the March of Dimes in Colorado from programs, public affairs and marketing to events, fundraising, operations and volunteer development. 鈥淭he March of Dimes is widely regarded as one of America's most notable and accomplished nonprofit health organizations, having established its roots under President Roosevelt,鈥 said Marshall. 鈥淚 am honored to lead the organization in Colorado. The rich history of the March of Dimes and the incredible milestones it has achieved over its nearly 75-year history directly affect the health and lives of millions of people today. I am enthusiastic about the opportunities to find new ways to secure the resources and public support we need to fund lifesaving research and deliver programs and services to the community.鈥
Marshall has been a March of Dimes volunteer since 2006. She has served as chair of the Prematurity Awareness Month campaign and was named an outstanding March of Dimes volunteer leader in 2008.
