Overview
Leeds Social Impact Consultants is an MBA student-run consulting service for social enterprises and local companies. The program runs in the fall semester annually.Ìý
Mission
Leeds Social Impact Consultants aims to provide consulting services by recruiting Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØMBA graduate students with diverse skills and backgrounds. We believe that both the rigorous business training we are engaged in and our previous professional experience will be of value in building stronger and more successful business solutions.
Types of Projects
We are open to projects that require the advanced skill sets we have been developing as MBA students. Some examples include strategic planning, marketing, finance, business plan development, program evaluation, and business model implementation among others.
We believe that all Leeds students have the qualifications and skills needed to consult with local companies. It’s simply a matter of finding the right project. These projects not only get Leeds MBA’s real-world experience in their area of interest, it also helps build their resumes and expand their networks.
How it Works
Our leadership will assemble a team of 2-5ÌýMBA students with a breadth of experience in all aspects of business to match the needs of each project. Teams will be based on expertise and interest.
Projects will start in November and last for approximately 12-16 weeks. Hoever, each organization and team of students can continue their project beyond that point based on a mutual agreement. Students will dedicate 10 hours per month to the project, with ongoing check-ins with the project contact person.Ìý
