Hello, Friend
Mid-January–June, 2025Friendships between artists inspire creativity, spur collaborations, and engender networks of support. With artwork from CUAM’s collection, Hello, Friend centers friendships between artists who lived and worked in shared creative circles in the mid-late 1900s.Hello, Friend also has a double meaning as many of the artworks on view have not been exhibited in ten or more years. This exhibition is an opportunity to see old favorites and encounter collection works for the first time.
Hello Friend: Staff favorites
Mid-January–March, 2025Hello Friend: Staff favorites goes behind the scenes with artwork selected by CUAM staff. When working at a museum, staff encounter art every day during class visits, in storage, and on the walls. For our Staff Favorites exhibition, staff chose some of their favorite artwork and provided interpretive texts.
