Faculty Accommodate Information

Accommodate is a tool that enables the Disability Services office to manage accommodation requests and implementation. The tool features both student and faculty portals.

How to access Accommodate 

Step 1: Access 

Step 2: Select 鈥淔aculty鈥 under 鈥淲hat type of user are you?鈥

Step 3: Use your 麻豆免费版下载IdentiKey credentials to log in.

View accommodation letters

Step 1: Email Notification

If a student requests to use accommodations in your course, you will receive an email asking you to review their Letter of Accommodation.

Step 2: Log-in to Accommodate

You can also view Letters of Accommodation by clicking 鈥淎ccommodation Letters鈥 on the home screen of Accommodate.

Step 3: Click 鈥淟etter of Accommodation鈥

Click on 鈥淟etter of Accommodation鈥 to see the student鈥檚 approved accommodations and to review the faculty and student responsibilities.

Step 4: Sign

You can scroll to the bottom to sign and save for your own record, but this is not required.

Viewing students who have accommodations in your courses

Step 1: Log-in to Accommodate

Once you are logged into Accommodate, select 鈥淐ourses鈥 on the left side of the screen.

Step 2: View Class List

A list of classes you are currently teaching will appear. To view students who have accommodations by course name, click on the course title.

Step 3: Select 鈥淓nrolled Students鈥

Step 4: Select "More Filters"

Step 5: Click "Yes" under Approved Accommodations for this Course and then click "Apply Search"

Step 6: View Student List

If a student has requested to use their approved accommodations in your class, accommodations will appear under the student name.

If a student has disclosed to you they have accommodations and the accommodations are not appearing under the student name, please contact dsassistant@colorado.edu for assistance.

How to download a list of enrolled students who have accommodations in your courses

Step 1: Once you are logged into Accommodate, select "Courses" on the left side of the screen.

Step 2: A list of classes you are currently teaching will appear. To view students who have accommodations by course name, click on the course title.

Step 3: Select "Enrolled Students"

Step 4: Select "Batch Options"

Step 5: Click on "Save As Excel." You have the option to save the entire list, the current page of students, or select specific student records by clicking checkboxes next to a student's name to save those only.
