Getting Started
Enroll in a course and pay tuition ($667 per credit hour).Tuition is due at the time of enrollment. You will receive a confirmation message within an hour when your enrollmenthas been processed.*Please note that course tuition mayvarydepending on the college.

After enrolling in a course and paying tuition, you will receive an email from the Office of Information Technology (OIT) with your Student Identification Number (SID) andinstructions on how to activate yourIdentiKey (which will be your 鶹Ѱlogin name) and password. You will use your identikeyto access online services and applications at 鶹ѰBoulder.
Didn't get the email from OIT?Email them atoithelp@colorado.eduto locate your Student Identification Number (SID).
After activating your IdentiKey, youwill need to set-up your鶹ѰBoulder email account which is @colorado.edu. All official forms of communication will be sent to@colorado.edu email address.
Linking your 鶹Ѱemail to your Coursera account will grant you access to the MS-EE Student Onboarding Course.
To get started, open the linking invitation email from Coursera with thesubject line“ACTION NEEDED: Link your Coursera account…”.
On the Coursera platform, complete the "MS-EE Student Onboarding Course" in order to gain access to the for-credit content. Please keep the following in mind:
- If you have completed the onboarding course and still do not have access to the for-credit content, the class may not have started yet. Seeclass start and end date.
- Schedule your proctored exam at least 72 hours prior to the class end date
- Final grade will be posted 2 weeks after the end of the 8-week session
General Information
The MS-EE on Coursera program is unique among graduate programs at the 鶹Ѱ in its modality, admissionspolicies, course design, andhas a number of special policies. These policies are listed in the student handbook.
TheBuff Portalis known as the student portal that will serve as a one-stop-shopforstudents to find the important resourcessuch as managingtransactions, viewing class schedule, checking current status, and much more.
Upon first logging into Buff Portal, students must consent to conduct business electronically during their time at 鶹ѰBoulder.
Drop and Refund: Each student may drop a class if they are within 14 daysfrom the class start date or their enrollment date (whichever is later) and have not accessed the proctored assessment.When a course is dropped under the conditions listed above, it will not appear on the student’s record.
Withdrawal: Students who request to drop the course after the 14-day periodand have not accessedthe proctored assessment may withdraw from the coursebut will not receive a refund. When a student withdraws from a course under these conditions, the student will receive a grade of W on their academic record. W grades have no bearing on the GPA and credit total.
Obtain a copy of your tuition statement and 1098T Tax Form.

Before ordering the official 鶹ѰBoulder transcript, students must check for holds by logging into the. If there arefinancial obligations with CU, the student transcript will not be released.

鶹ѰBoulder is proud to offerthe certified electronic diploma (CeDiploma). Students who complete an official certificate program also have the option of downloading a certified electronic certificate (CeCertificate).For more information, visit the Certified Electronic Doplomas & Certificates website.
Note:鶹ѰBoulder issues both diplomas and graduate certificates 3x a year - July, October and February.
This policy only applies to admitted students (successfully completed a pathway specialization) on the MS-EE degree program. Admitted students can replace up to six credits in the cumulative GPA calculation. In this process, all courses attempted will still appear on the transcript, but only the last attempt will be calculated in the cumulative GPA and credit totals.

The Professional Conversations Seminar series provides an opportunity for MS-EE students to hear directly from industry leaders to discuss about their profession, how their role plays in their organization, the methods and techniques being used, and their own career trajectory.

Graduation
- Declare your intention to seek the degree, which you can do before, during, or after any work in a pathway specialization;
- Complete at leastone Pathway Specialization for-creditwith a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.00;
- Complete a minimum of 30 for-credit hours which includes a pathway specialization withcumulative GPA of at least 3.00 for all for-credit courses taken to date.
- At the start of your final, 8-week session, send an email to msee-support@colorado.edu for details aboutparticipation in thenext graduation ceremony.
- Attend the graduation ceremony (optional).
You will receive a congratulatory email about three weeks after your final 8-week session concludes.
You will receive your diploma around two months after you complete your course work.
Note:Diplomas and Certificates will bemailed outto students –we do not print or ship diplomas in house. Diploma covers are not included in the mailing. Currently, students receive both a paper and electronic copy.
