Your pathway to Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering, made seamless!

The Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ offers multiple pathways for Colorado Community College students aligned with the CCCS Associate of Engineering Science (AES) degrees now offered. Students can take advantage of a clear, transparent pathway that aligns with all Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder engineering degree programs listed below in these approved pathways.

Currently, the Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ's College of Engineering and Applied Science offers the most AES pathways of any engineering program in Colorado.

Note: These degree pathways are offered at participating Colorado Community Colleges. Any student interested in these degree pathways must check with their academic advisor at their community college to apply for this degree.

Degrees & Degree Requirements

This is a multi-major pathway that applies to all degree programs not specifically articulated by major.
Note: this pathway does not guarantee a specific number of credit hours to be completed once a student transfers to Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder, as this pathway contains multiple majors.

Please check with Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØEngineering (CEASadmissions@colorado.edu) for any questions regarding this pathway.

General AES Degree Requirements

This pathway maps directly to our degree in architectural engineering. Students should expect 68 credit hours remaining at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder to complete this degree, after completing these requirements.

Note: This pathway creates exceptions in our normal ArchE curriculum where students would be taking co-requisite courses that are normally prerequisites at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder in the junior and senior year of this curriculum. This results in students taking senior design to be the team lead in only construction, structures, or electrical, and would not have the ability to be team leads in mechanical, or lighting, due to prerequisite courses being taken concurrently in those areas.

Architectural Engineering AES Degree Requirements

This pathway maps directly to our degree in civil engineering. Students should expect 67 credit hours remaining at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder to complete this degree, after completing these requirements.
