PEAC 2019 Cohort Thanking Their Donors

Since 1993, the Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program (MASP) has served traditionally underrepresented and/or first generation students in the College of Arts and Sciences. We support our motivated students with their academic success through scholarship, educational opportunities, programming, mentoring and more. MASP is a home on campus for many of our students during their journey at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ, and the connections they develop within our community carry on beyond their time at this institution. As MASP continues to grow as a diverse community, we strive to raise our scholarship and to provide more resources for our students.

We truly appreciate donations of all sizes, and each and every contribution makes a crucial impact on our program.

Thank you for your support. We couldn't do it without your help.

Sincerely,

Celeste Montoya
Faculty Director, Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program

PEAC Fund

The Program for Excellence in Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ and Community (PEAC) is a summer bridge program for highly motivated incoming freshmen from traditionally underrepresented groups and/or who are first-generation college students. PEAC is a rigorous academic program focusing on intensive university-level material and giving students an opportunity to form a strong community on campus. Students who successfully complete PEAC receive a stipend of $1,000 and are invited to MASP.

PEAC is free of charge for participating students, and therefore donations to this fund will cover the cost of PEAC programming and stipends.
