Masoud Aghajani Awarded Research Fellowship
Congratulations to Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder mechanical engineering PhD student Masoud Aghajani for being awarded a 2016 Fellowship for Membrane Technology by the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) and US Bureau of Reclamation!
The joint AMTA-Reclamation award provides funding to graduate students researching innovations for water treatment in membrane related areas. Aghajani is one of four students across the country to earn the award this year.
He is a second-year doctoral student, working under mechanical engineering associate professor Yifu Ding. His research focuses on thin film composite membranes for advanced water treatment.
As part of the award, Aghajani will also present the results of his research at the 2018 Membrane Technology Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida.
