The University of Colorado Mountain Research Station generates the majority of it's operational funds from fees charged to researchers, students, and other users.

A 2-tiered fee structure is now established to harmonize overhead charged to grants and educational users, and external Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØcustomers not affiliated with education. This helps the Mountain Research Station support it's long-standing mission of research and education. This University-wide directive helps offset the cost of building and facility repair and updates, and services such as telephone, internet, heat, electricity, and other forms of administrative support.
