Our program offers exceptional training for bassoon, clarinet, flute, oboe and saxophone. Our brilliant artist-teachers bring extraordinary experience and pedagogy to their students and work together to foster a community of shared experience and inspirational performing and teaching environments.Ìý

The woodwind area values embodied, creative performances and models these qualities in our faculty’s own vibrant careers. Our faculty regularly perform across the United States and abroad as soloists and chamber musicians, and play with top orchestras; our faculty are also actively involved with innovative collaborations, research and commissioning projects.ÌýÌý

There are many ensembles to join at our College of Music including the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Concert Band, chamber groups, jazz ensembles, and several cross-genre and world music ensembles.

College of Music graduates are well prepared for the life of a 21st-century universal musician working in many facets of the music world.
