Joining more than 600 colleges and universities around the country, Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ leaders have expressed their support for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, which allows undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children through no fault of their own to work and study in the United States without fear of deportation.

DACA curbs poverty, but lowers school attendance

Beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program are significantly less likely to live in poverty and more likely to be employed than undocumented immigrants ineligible for the program, according to two new studies co-authored by Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØ labor economist Francisca Antman.
