Pedagogy and Wellness in the Classroom (PWC)
Program Overview

The Pedagogy and Wellness in the Classroom (PWC) is a hybrid microcredential designed for Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder faculty, instructors, academic advisors, and staff who are committed to fostering learning environments that support well-being, inclusion, and academic success—for students and for themselves. Participants will explore inclusive, evidence-based teaching and communication strategies that enhance wellness across the campus community. The program invites reflection on current practices, helps identify areas for growth, and empowers participants to integrate new pedagogical approaches that promote mental health and resilience. In addition to building confidence in addressing challenging conversations, such as those related to mental health, learning differences, and personal wellness, participants will also become more aware of the resources available at Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder to support both students and colleagues. Above all, this program cultivates a supportive community of educators and professionals dedicated to improving the climate of the classroom and the university at large.
