Your License Plate is Your Parking Access

Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder features "virtual" parking access, with no need for printed hang tags. The vehicle's license plate information is registered and associated with the parking access, so your license plate is used to identify your vehicle and is valid to park in only the specific lot or zone you purchase. Parking at meters and pay station lots requires additional payment. 

Adding a New Vehicle

Virtual parking access is verified with License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology through Â鶹Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂÔØBoulder enforcement. The license plates of the vehicle(s) parking patrons plan to drive to campus must be registered with Parking Services. You may add a new vehicle/license plate by signing into your or calling the Parking Services' Customer Service Specialists.

Cancelling Your Parking

Faculty/staff parking may be cancelled by completing and submitting the Cancel My Parking Permit form. If you cancel your parking, you can reapply at any time; however, parking spaces may not be availble in the same lot when you reapply.

If an employee wants to have their parking fees deducted post-tax from their monthly payroll, they must complete and submit the . Requests submitted by the 10th of the month, will be deducted post-tax in that month's payroll. To access this form please have your "identikey@colorado.edu" email address. Alternate Parking Arrangements

All lots are subject to special event parking arrangements. If a planned event or a construction project requires assignment to a different lot, you will be notified via email. The LPR will verify that you are valid in the assigned alternate lot. 

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycle parking will be issued by license plate.

Overflow Lots

Parking access is valid only in the designated primary lot(s) assigned. If there are no spaces in your assigned parking lot, please park in an available space in a lot near your lot and call Parking Services' Customer Services Specialists (303) 735-7275 before leaving your vehicle. They will place a note in your account, so you do not receive a ticket for parking in an incorrect lot, and request Enforcement to drive through your full lot to verify that vehicles are paid parking patrons,.
